The New Snocross Family!

Jessica (left) and Justin York (3rd from left)  are now in the snocross circuit! Wish them well and consider sponsoring them!

The Sandpoint Winter Riders is a proud sponsor of these fine youth!

Seeley Lake, Jan. 5, 2008

In their first race, Justin placed 1st in his 440 class. He then moved up to the 16-25 year old division and finished 9th of 16.  Not bad for his first race!  Jessica placed 3rd in her 440 class, but is improving all the time!

Coeur d'Alene Fairgrounds, Feb. 15 and 16, 2008

On Saturday Jessica & Justin raced in the Sport 440 class. Justin was 1st and Jessica was 6th!  Justin had to earn it, but he got it done and it was exciting.  Jessica had a good start and just ran mid-pack but did well.

On Sunday Jessica raced Women's Class and finished 2nd. She was going back and forth with another woman and it was a good race. Justin raced the Sport Combo class against 600cc sleds on a 440cc. He ended up 4th in the main!  His race was on the local news Sunday night.

Congratulations to our newest celebrities!

2009 Snocross!

Mcall Idaho and Pinedale Wyoming

At McCall Jessica was 4th Saturday and crashed but she did get back up. Her back was hurting so she did not finish though. Tyler crashed and he is done for the season with a broken jaw! He flat landed a jump and smashed his head into the bars. Justin was 2nd on Saturday and 1st on Sunday! Hoorah!

Pinedale went good and bad;bad news first. Jessica crashed and it was so bad she was transported to the ER. She broke her tailbone!  She did finish 6th on Saturday though. Justin was 1st in his class Saturday and won every race Sunday; he was very fast.

From DAD: Sorry about all the bad news,I now have 1 kid racing and he is in 1st place in sport ss and sport combo!

From Club:  We wish a speedy recovery to both Jessica and Tyler!!

Alpine Wyoming

These kids are getting faster every race! We raced at Alpine ,WY over the weekend and Tyler was 2nd in his class on Saturday. Justin had to make a trip to the Emergency room in Jackson after dislocating his shoulder. They reset it and taped him up and he finished 3rd on Sunday.

Jessica is getting faster too! She was 5th Saturday and crashed and finished back on Sunday. Before Justin wrecked he won 2 heats and was leading the 3rd one and lost it over the woops that was getting alot of riders. He is fine now has a few weeks to heal.

Tyler was leading the final Sunday and he crashed and had to catch back up, crashed in the same spot. Jessica was getting holeshots and holding the boys at bay for a few laps. She even put a ski through her brothers side panel passing him in a corner. The family has a lot of good stories and are having a blast!

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

2009 has started out great for the York family when they participated in the Coeur d'Alene Snocross on January 17th. Skidoo is now sponsoring both Jessica and Justin and they are riding on new Skidoo XP 600s, with fancy jackets and plenty of sled decals!

Sunday, Justin, Jessica and friend Tyler Swarm all ran in the Sport Combo Class. Justin was 1st in the final, winning by over a half a lap by getting the hole shot. Tyler ended up 3rd place, which is a great job for his first weekend. Jessica was 6th after she almost crashed but saved it. She is still getting used to the Skidoo XP Chassis but still did well.

Jeff York has been busy fixing some broken rear suspension parts on Justin's sled and replacing a few parts on Tylers sled from his wreck on Saturday;duct tape does wonders at the track!
