Club Background

Our right to ride snowmobiles on public lands is threatened daily. As a member of our club, we ask that you support those diligently working to keep these lands open for us to enjoy.

Our club promotes support for public lands, but we don't feel it necessary to beat up members at every opportunity about it. We will notify all members when there are critical issues that need your assistance. But in the meantime, come join our fun activities and energetic club meetings!

Make sure you are aware of the current public land issues by visiting our website often!  The articles in the Public Lands section will be updated as things occur with each issue.

The best way to  assist in the fight for public lands is to be properly informed so when asked you are providing accurate information.

To learn more about public land issues, be sure to visit the Idaho State Snowmobile Association's website: www.idahosnowbiz.com.

In advance, thank you for your assistance for keeping our right to ride on public lands!

Contacting Public Officials

For those of you wanting to contact or write our elected officials, here are three useful websites:

State of Idaho Elected Officials:

http://www.state.id.us/government/elected.html

Bonner County Idaho Website:

http://www.co.bonner.id.us/

Boundary County Idaho Website:

http://www.boundarycountyid.org/

REMEMBER:  Always be COURTEOUS and RESPECTFUL, identify your home address, state or discuss your concerns, and thank them for the time and attention.  Written comments are the most effective, but a phone call or e-mail helps as well.
